The College of Mathematical Sciences now has 6 undergraduate majors, i.e. Applied Physics, optoelectronic information science and engineering, mathematics and applied mathematics, data science and big data technology, information and Computing Science (embedded training), and engineering mechanics. It has 3 master's degree awarding points and doctor's degree awarding points of magneto-electronic material properties and devices, engineering force science and Application Statistics Point. The college consists of physics department, mathematics department and mechanics department. At the same time, it also has several teaching and research institutions, such as Jiangsu provincial physics basic course experiment teaching demonstration center, mathematics experiment teaching center, mechanics experiment teaching center, signal processing and Data Mining Institute.
There are 127 faculty members and 110 full-time teachers, including 11 professors, 57 associate professors, 2 doctoral supervisors, 22 postgraduate supervisors, 49 doctoral degrees and 34 overseas backgrounds.
