Downstream brands and large manufacturing enterprises have successively implemented green procurement standards, giving priority to the selection of low-carbon, environmentally friendly, and compliant raw materials. Silica products with complete environmental protection qualifications and mature low-carbon processes are more likely to enter the high-quality supply chain, and the bargaining power and cooperation stability are significantly improved.
At the regional level, the industrial layout is also continuously optimized. The highly polluting and fragmented small workshop-style production capacity has been continuously cleared, and the production capacity has gradually been concentrated in compliant chemical parks, achieving centralized pollution control, unified control, and intensive utilization of resources, and the overall standardization and intensification level of the industry have been greatly improved.
According to industry analysts, environmental protection and low-carbon will become the core regulatory main line of the chemical industry for a long time. In the short term, environmental protection transformation will increase the initial investment and operating costs of enterprises; In the long run, it will accelerate the reshuffle of the industry, eliminate the backward production capacity of disorderly competition, promote the silica industry to a low-carbon, clean, intensive and high-quality development path, and achieve a two-way balance between ecological and industrial benefits.
