(April 24, 2026) Since the second quarter of 2026, the domestic silica industry has been simultaneously advancing in multiple dimensions such as improving standards, optimizing production capacity, and building projects, and the structural adjustment of the industry has continued to deepen. 

At the level of industry supervision, the quality control of the national chemical industry has continued to tighten recently, and the competent authorities have refined the quality indicators of all categories of silica, strictly standardized the purity, particle size, impurity content and other standards of products by precipitation method and gas phase method, strengthened the sampling inspection of products circulating in the market, and forced enterprises to upgrade the production quality control system, and the overall quality level of products continued to improve. 

In terms of production capacity structure, combined with the adjustment policies of the chemical industry in Jiangsu and other provinces, ordinary low-end silica plants below 15,000 tons/year in China have been phased out, high-pollution old production equipment has been fully renovated and replaced, and industry production capacity has been concentrated in large-scale and environmentally friendly leading enterprises. At the same time, large-scale low-carbon new projects in China continue to land, and the phased construction project of carbon dioxide acidification silica with a total investment of more than 1 billion yuan in Shandong is steadily advancing, which will greatly improve the supply capacity of green and high-quality silica after all reach production. 

Combined with market data, the current domestic silica supply and demand pattern continues to be optimized, the supply of general products is sufficient, the gap of high-end special products still exists, and the overseas export demand continues to grow.
