Hits: 1143 img

White carbon black (scientific name: silicon dioxide, SiO ₂) is an amorphous white powder, known as "industrial monosodium glutamate" due to its high specific surface area and excellent reinforcement properties. According to different preparation methods, it can be divided into precipitation method white carbon black and gas-phase method white carbon black:
Precipitation method: generated by the reaction of sodium silicate with acid, with low cost, widely used in tires and rubber products.
Gas phase method: produced by high-temperature hydrolysis of silicon tetrachloride, with high purity, used in high-end fields such as silicone rubber and coatings.
Core application:
Rubber industry: Improve tire wear resistance, reduce rolling resistance, and help save energy and reduce emissions.
Coatings and inks: enhance anti settling and thickening effects, improve printing performance.
In the field of daily chemical products: as a toothpaste thickener and cosmetic adsorbent, it enhances the texture of products.
Future trend: With the increasing demand for green tires, the market size of white carbon black is expected to exceed 3 million tons by 2025.
