Faced with resource constraints and environmental pressures, the white carbon black industry is building a closed-loop system of "raw materials products waste":


Fluorosilicic acid resource utilization: Using fluorosilicic acid, a by-product of the phosphate fertilizer industry, as raw material, white carbon black is produced by ammonification method. Each ton of product can reduce fluoride emissions by 1.5 tons and reduce production costs by 25%. A certain enterprise in Yunnan has built a production line with an annual output of 50000 tons, achieving "zero emissions" of fluorosilicic acid.
Zero discharge of wastewater: The combined process of membrane bioreactor (MBR) and reverse osmosis (RO) is used to treat precipitation wastewater, and the recovered sodium sulfate can be used for glass manufacturing, with a water recycling rate of 98%. A certain enterprise in Zhejiang province saves 2 million tons of water annually through this technology.
Recycling of waste tires: The carbon black obtained from the pyrolysis of waste tires is combined with white carbon black to prepare recycled rubber fillers, which have properties close to the original materials and reduce costs by 40%.
At the policy level, China's 14th Five Year Plan for the Development of Raw Materials Industry clearly requires the proportion of clean production in the white carbon black industry to exceed 85%, promoting the industry's transformation towards low carbonization and recycling.
