On July 13, 2025, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment issued the revised draft of the "Emission Standards for Pollutants in the Inorganic Chemical Industry", which clearly requires that the fluoride emission concentration limit for white carbon black production enterprises be reduced from 15mg/m ³ to 5mg/m ³. Affected by this, leading domestic enterprises have launched technological transformation projects one after another: Yingchuang Jialian invested 230 million yuan to build a fluorine resource recovery device, which converts fluoride in exhaust gas into hydrofluoric acid for recycling; Quecheng Group uses fly ash based raw materials instead of traditional sodium silicate, reducing carbon emissions per unit product by 28%. Industry experts predict that by 2027, the market share of gas-phase white carbon black produced by green processes will increase from the current 17% to 35%.
