The preparation process of white carbon black is the key to its performance. At present, the mainstream methods for preparing white carbon black in the market mainly include chemical precipitation and gas-phase methods. The chemical precipitation method generates a precipitate by reacting sodium silicate with acid, and then undergoes washing, drying, crushing and other processes to obtain the product. This method has a low cost and is suitable for large-scale production, but the purity of the product is relatively low. The gas-phase method involves gasifying raw materials such as silicon tetrachloride at high temperatures, and then hydrolyzing them in a hydrogen oxygen flame to produce ultrafine silica particles. After collection and surface treatment, high-purity and high-performance white carbon black is obtained. Although the cost is high, the product has excellent performance and is widely used in high-end fields. In recent years, with the increasing awareness of environmental protection and continuous technological progress, green and efficient preparation processes have become a research hotspot, such as using biomass raw materials or developing new catalysts, in order to achieve sustainable production of white carbon black.
