White carbon black: the "pollution control expert" in the field of environmental protection

In water treatment, white carbon black can form coordination bonds with heavy metal ions through surface hydroxyl groups, achieving efficient adsorption. For example, the adsorption capacity of heavy metal ions such as lead and cadmium can reach over 200mg/g, which is much higher than traditional activated carbon. In addition, white carbon black can also be used as a flocculant to rapidly settle suspended solids in water through bridging, thereby improving water purification efficiency.


In the field of air purification, hydrophobic gas-phase white carbon black is used for the adsorption and treatment of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Its nanoscale pore structure can selectively capture harmful substances such as benzene and toluene, and its adsorption capacity is increased by more than 30% compared to traditional materials.
