Domestic fumed silica has been used in civil industries in the 1990s, such as silicone rubber, polyester, sealant, paint, ink and other fields. Since 1994, a group of domestic enterprises represented by Guangzhou Ji Bishi Technology Industrial Co., Ltd. have successively put into operation the fumed silica project, and the domestic fumed silica has entered a stage of rapid development.

In the world, silica is oversupply as a whole, and from the total amount of silica in China, the supply and demand are basically balanced, the structural contradictions are prominent, and the demand for high-grade silica products is strong, and some of the products are imported. .

The main reason for the rapid growth of China's silica industry is that silica is widely used in tires, silicone rubber, pesticides, feed, coatings and other industries. In recent years, the rapid development of these downstream industries has driven the market demand to grow.

In general, domestic demand for white carbon black will continue to grow at a rate of about 10%, and the growth rate of green tires with highly dispersed white carbon will exceed 15%.

(4) Silica consumption structure
Foreign precipitation white carbon black is mainly used in the rubber industry. In the foreign precipitation method, footwear products account for about 30% of consumption, tire industry accounts for 38%, other rubber products account for 5%, and feed industry accounts for 6%. The toothpaste industry accounts for about 5%, paint coatings account for 3%, battery separators account for 2%, and other uses account for 11%.

Compared with foreign countries, China's precipitation method silica consumption in footwear products far exceeds the tire industry, but in recent years, the consumption ratio of white carbon black for footwear has shown a downward trend; the silica for tires shows an upward trend; silica is also widely used in rubber products such as silicone rubber, rice-rolled rubber roller, tape and cable. Its consumption ratio accounts for about 12%. It is used as carrier or flow agent in pesticides, feed and other industries, and used in toothpaste. Used as a friction agent and thickener, used as a dispersant, anti-settling agent or matting agent in the coatings industry, as an adsorbent in the pharmaceutical and food industries; in the non-rubber industry, the domestic pesticide and feed industry consumption ratio is close to the foreign ratio The consumption ratio of the paint and toothpaste industry is low, and the paper industry is basically blank.
