Professional overview: the school of architecture has three undergraduate majors: Architecture (five-year system, national first-class undergraduate major), urban and rural planning (Five-year System) and landscape architecture; it has three first-class master's degree programs of architecture, urban and rural planning, landscape architecture, and two master's degree programs of architecture and urban planning; it independently sets up green building technology under the first-class discipline doctor's point of civil engineering The second level discipline doctor's point of technology and engineering, and the second level discipline doctor's point of smart city and intelligent transportation are set independently.
The major of architecture and urban and rural planning are both characteristic majors of colleges and universities in Jiangsu Province and key undergraduate majors (Architecture) of colleges and universities in Jiangsu Province during the 12th Five Year Plan period. The major of architecture and urban and rural planning have passed the national undergraduate (Five-year System) professional education evaluation and master's education evaluation. The major of architecture has the right to grant bachelor's degree, master's degree and master's degree of architecture; the major of urban and rural planning has the right to grant bachelor's degree, master's degree and master's degree of urban planning.
The college always adheres to the school running direction of "based on Jiangsu, facing the whole country, realistic innovation and service construction", takes teaching as the center, constantly carries out teaching reform, steadily improves the quality of teaching, and has won many awards in college students' design competitions at home and abroad. Focusing on scientific research, it has formed more than ten stable research directions, presided over more than 20 NSFC projects, published a number of influential monographs, textbooks and papers, and completed a large number of important practical projects.
The college actively carried out multi-faceted cooperation and exchanges at home and abroad, and established friendly cooperative relations with more than 10 universities, including Massachusetts Institute of technology, University of Nottingham in the UK, University of British Columbia in Canada, etc.
Since its establishment in 1985, the college has cultivated more than 4000 graduates, which has great influence and good reputation in similar domestic universities.
The total number of graduates in 2019 is 275, including 78 master's degree graduates and 197 bachelor's degree graduates, which is relatively stable compared with previous years. The sex ratio of male and female is 0.95, which is relatively average as a whole. Among the total graduates, 185 are from Jiangsu, accounting for 67.3%.
Graduates' employment rate and destination (I) graduates' employment rate under the joint promotion of the school and the college, with the efforts of all the teachers and students of the college, the graduates of our college have maintained a high employment rate. As of December 30, 2019, the total number of graduates in 2019 is 275, with a total employment rate of 99.27%, including 98.98% for undergraduates and 100% for postgraduates.

In terms of graduation destination, the total number of employees dispatched by 2019 graduates of our college in the distribution of graduation destinations with various academic qualifications is 195, accounting for 70.91%. The number of undergraduates entering university (postgraduate) accounts for a large number, reaching 61, accounting for 30.96% of the total number of undergraduate graduates. 76 graduate students sent jobs, accounting for 97.44%.
In terms of unit type distribution, it can be divided into: Party and government organs and institutions, scientific research and design units, three capital enterprises and other enterprise categories according to the type of institutions. The number of graduates employed by foreign-funded enterprises and other enterprises is 122, accounting for 62.56% of the graduates employed; the number of graduates from scientific research and design institutions is 33, accounting for 16.92% of the total number of graduates employed; the number of graduates employed by Party and government organs, public institutions and state-owned enterprises is 40, accounting for 20.51%.
2. Employment distribution in 2019, the employment location of college graduates is still mainly in Jiangsu Province. From the perspective of employment area, the number of returned students in other provinces is 10, accounting for 3.83% of the total number of graduates.

3. The employment situation of graduates from all departments of architecture, urban and rural planning and landscape architecture shows certain similarity in the selection of graduates' employment in 2019. For example, the first choice of employment areas is in Jiangsu Province, and the first choice of unit type is large-scale design enterprises. （3） Type of employment: scientific research and design units account for the proportion, and the popularity of the real estate industry has declined. Judging from the type distribution of employment units, most of the graduates who go to scientific research and design units account for the proportion. From the perspective of the distribution of employment industry, affected by the overall industry development, the popularity of real estate enterprises fell. In 2019, the graduates who chose to work in the real estate industry accounted for 2.55%, the graduates engaged in scientific research and design accounted for 16.73%, and the graduates engaged in construction accounted for 43.64%. At the same time, graduates in the employment industry, employment unit type selection shows a diversified development trend, some Internet, business services and other industries have also been the concern of graduates. Grassroots work and state-owned enterprises are also favored by students. Three of the 2019 graduates of this and master's degree have been admitted to the civil service and selected for transfer.
