The application of feed flavor has positive significance for improving the palatability of feed and promoting animal and poultry feeding. 3) Improve feed processing performance
In the United States, nearly two-thirds of feed mills use various forms of binders when producing pellet feed to reduce dust, improve feed processing performance, and increase feed production capacity. Many nutrients contained in feed, such as vitamins, unsaturated fatty acids, etc., are easily oxidized, invalidated or deteriorated. Almost all countries with developed feed industries use antioxidants and antifungal agents in compound feed production to reduce nutrient loss during feed processing and storage. Tests show that the loss of carotene in grass powder treated with antioxidants after 6 months of storage is reduced by 25% to 50% compared with grass powder without added antioxidants. The use of feed preservation agents such as antifungal agents and antioxidants in the feed can prevent the loss of feed nutrients and avoid waste.
