The leading silica enterprises have increased investment in environmental protection, promoted the upgrading of production processes, and effectively reduced energy consumption and pollutant emissions through the transformation of sodium silicate waste liquid recovery, waste heat utilization, and water circulation closed-loop system transformation, so as to reduce costs and increase efficiency, and the advantages of compliant production capacity continue to be highlighted. 

On the demand side, the requirements for product environmental protection attributes in downstream new energy, high-end rubber, food and medicine, daily chemical beauty and other fields continue to increase, and orders for environmentally friendly silica with low heavy metals, low volatility, green and pollution continue to increase. Under the trend of green tire upgrading, the tire industry gives priority to environmentally friendly reinforced silica; photovoltaic glue, lithium battery seals, medical accessories and other fields are strictly screening special silica products that meet environmental protection standards, forcing the industry to accelerate green and refined upgrading. 

In the export market, environmental protection access standards in Europe, America, Southeast Asia and other regions have been improved, and the recognition of green and compliant domestic silica has continued to improve overseas, driving the steady growth of exports of high-end environmentally friendly products, while the export of products that do not meet environmental protection standards has been blocked, further promoting the survival of the fittest in the industry. 

Industry experts said that in the future, environmental protection and low-carbon will deeply reshape the pattern of the silica industry, and the era of simply fighting for price and production capacity has passed. In the short term, the market as a whole in May is mainly stable, and in the medium and long term, enterprises with environmental production qualifications, advanced technology, and green high-end product lines will usher in greater development opportunities, and the high-quality development process of the industry will continue to accelerate.
