In the context of the normalization of a new round of regional environmental protection inspections, small and medium-sized production enterprises in many places are forced to limit production, reduce production or even temporarily suspend work due to substandard environmental protection facilities and limited pollutant discharge indicators, and the low-end supply of the market has shrunk in stages. The sharp rise in environmental protection costs has also increased the survival pressure of small and medium-sized manufacturers, and the low-end and low-price involution pattern of the industry has gradually collapsed. 

In this context, leading enterprises have taken the lead in laying out cleaner production technology transformation and becoming the main force in industry transformation. The application of new processes such as carbon dioxide coupled acidification, solid waste recycling, waste heat recycling, and closed-loop treatment of wastewater has been accelerated, which can not only reduce pollutant emissions, reduce comprehensive energy consumption, but also realize the resource utilization of by-products, and effectively dilute the cost of environmental protection transformation. Relying on the advantages of green production qualifications and compliant production capacity, leading enterprises continue to seize high-quality downstream customer resources, and the industry concentration has been further improved. 

At the same time, downstream terminal brands are gradually implementing green procurement standards, and high-quality customers in rubber, coatings, silicones, daily chemicals and other fields give priority to low-carbon and environmentally friendly silica products, forcing the upstream production end to complete green upgrading. Green attributes are no longer a plus, but a core hard condition for product access. 

Industry institutions said that in the short term, environmental protection high pressure will continue to restrict the release of backward production capacity and support the smooth operation of the silica market; in the long run, technological iteration and capacity optimization driven by environmental protection will completely rewrite the rules of industry competition. In the future, low-carbon technology, cleaner production, and circular economy will become the core main lines of high-quality development of the silica industry, and environmental compliance enterprises will continue to enjoy industry dividends.
