The environmental properties of white carbon black: the entire lifecycle from production to recycling

Hits: 1219 img

cleaner production
Sodium sulfate recycling: The by-product of precipitation method, sodium sulfate, can be evaporated and crystallized to a purity of up to 99%, and then returned to the sodium silicate production process;
Waste heat power generation: gas-phase reaction heat is used to generate steam, reducing energy consumption per unit product by 25%;
Zero discharge of wastewater: Membrane separation technology is used to recover silicates, with a wastewater reuse rate of over 95%.
Carbon footprint optimization
Calculated based on 1 ton of white carbon black:

Traditional process carbon emissions: 3.2 tons of CO ₂;
Green technology (using renewable energy+carbon capture): reducing carbon emissions to 0.8 tons of CO ₂;
Under the background of the EU Carbon Tariff (CBAM), the premium space for green products is up to $150 per ton.
Recycling

Tire cracking: The mixture of carbon black and white carbon black produced by the pyrolysis of waste tires can be reused for low-speed tires after acid washing;
Paint recycling: Through supercritical CO ₂ extraction, white carbon black is recovered from waste paint with a purity of over 90%.
