White carbon black (scientific name silica, SiO ₂) is an amorphous white powder, known as the "industrial monosodium glutamate" due to its high specific surface area, excellent reinforcement performance, and chemical stability. Unlike traditional carbon black, white carbon black is produced through chemical precipitation or gas-phase methods, and is divided into two categories: precipitation method white carbon black and gas-phase method white carbon black.
Application areas:
Rubber industry: As a key reinforcing agent for green tires, it can reduce rolling resistance and improve wear resistance.
Coatings and inks: enhance glossiness, anti settling and weather resistance.
Medicine and food: As a drug carrier or food additive, it provides thickening, anti caking and other functions.
Market prospects: With the tightening of global environmental policies, the demand for white carbon black in new energy vehicles, 5G materials and other fields continues to grow, and it is expected that the market size will exceed 30 billion yuan by 2025.
