The precipitation method is produced by reacting sodium silicate with acid to form a precipitate, which is then washed, dried, and crushed. This method has a low cost and is suitable for large-scale production, but the purity of the product is relatively limited. The gas-phase method is to obtain ultrafine silica by gas-phase hydrolysis of silicon halides at high temperatures. The product has high purity, small particle size, and good dispersibility, but the production cost is high, and it is mostly used in the high-end market.


In recent years, with the continuous advancement of technology, the quality of precipitated white carbon black has gradually improved. By optimizing reaction conditions, post-treatment processes, and other means, the pore structure and surface properties of the product have been effectively improved, expanding its application in high-end fields. At the same time, the exploration of green preparation technologies, such as using industrial waste as a silicon source, also provides new ideas for the sustainable development of white carbon black.
