Reinforcement principle: The hydroxyl groups on the surface of white carbon black form hydrogen bonds or chemical bonds with rubber molecular chains, enhancing the interaction between polymer and filler.
Performance comparison:
Compared with carbon black, white carbon black can significantly reduce rolling resistance, but its initial compatibility is poor and needs to be modified with coupling agents.
Highly dispersed white carbon black (HDS) has better dispersibility in rubber and a reinforcing effect similar to carbon black.
Application case: Adding 15-20 parts of white carbon black to silicone rubber can increase its tensile strength by 40 times, and is widely used in the fields of electronics and healthcare.
