Production process: Sodium silicate (water glass) and sulfuric acid are used as raw materials to produce white carbon black (SiO ₂ · nH ₂ O) through precipitation reaction. The finished product is obtained through washing, drying, granulation and other steps. The key process parameters include pH value, reaction temperature (50-90 ℃), reaction time, and raw material concentration, which directly affect the specific surface area, structure, and dispersibility of the product.
Application areas:
Rubber industry: As a reinforcing agent, it accounts for over 70%, especially suitable for white or colored rubber products, which can improve wear resistance, tear strength, and viscosity.
Tire manufacturing: High dispersibility white carbon black (HDS) can reduce rolling resistance by 30%, improve fuel efficiency by 6%, and enhance wet road grip by 15%. It is the core material of green tires.
Other fields: Toothpaste friction agents (with strong adsorption), cosmetics UV shielding agents, coating thickeners, paper enhancers, etc.
Technical trend: High gravity technology, sol gel process and other special processes can improve product performance and meet high-end market demand.
