The white carbon black prepared by the sol method has a large specific surface area and a large pore volume, and is suitable as a matrix for the adsorbent and the active metal catalyst. The disadvantage is that the silica prepared by the sol method is similar to the sample prepared by the conventional method, has high temperature instability, and has a slightly small specific surface area.
