Precipitation method white carbon black: a green breakthrough of traditional technology

Hits: 1018 img

Precipitation method white carbon black occupies 70% of the global market share, with sodium silicate reacting with sulfuric acid as the core to generate amorphous hydrated silica by controlling the reaction conditions (pH 5-8, temperature 80-95 ℃). In recent years, the industry has focused on two major innovation directions:

Raw material substitution: Using solid waste such as rice husk ash and fly ash to replace quartz sand. For example, a certain enterprise in Jiangxi province uses the "acid leaching calcination" process to convert rice husk ash into white carbon black with a purity of 99.5%, while also co producing activated carbon, achieving the goal of "turning waste into treasure".
Functional modification: adding silane coupling agents, polyethylene glycol, etc. to enhance product dispersibility. Experimental data shows that the DBP absorption value of modified white carbon black has increased from 2.8 cm ³/g to 3.8 cm ³/g, meeting the requirements of "low rolling resistance and high wear resistance" for high-end tires.
With the tightening of environmental regulations, sedimentation law enterprises are accelerating the layout of clean production. For example, a company in Shandong Province uses membrane separation technology to recover sodium sulfate from wastewater, reducing single line energy consumption by 20% and reducing annual wastewater emissions by 100000 tons.
