The practice of "circular economy" of white carbon black: from industrial waste to high-end materials

Hits: 953 img

Faced with the global resource crisis, the white carbon black industry is exploring a path of circular economy to turn waste into treasure. Agricultural industrial waste such as rice husk ash and fly ash can be activated by low-temperature plasma to extract high-purity silica and convert it into white carbon black. Its performance is comparable to that of gas-phase products, and the cost is reduced by more than 50%. More innovatively, the silicates in waste tires can be re synthesized into white carbon black through microwave-assisted recycling technology and used in the manufacturing of new tires, forming a closed-loop industrial chain. In Europe, a certain company has built the world's first "zero waste" white carbon black factory, processing 200000 tons of waste glass annually, producing high-end matting agents while reducing carbon emissions by 150000 tons. These practices have proven that the white carbon black industry is leading the green transformation in the materials field.
