According to the latest data from the China Fluorosilicon Organic Materials Industry Association, the total production capacity of gas-phase white carbon black in China will exceed 350000 tons per year by 2025, accounting for 38% of the global market share, surpassing Germany and the United States for the first time to become the world's largest producer. Among them, the proportion of high-end hydrophobic products has increased from 15% in 2020 to 42%, and technological breakthroughs have become the core driving force for capacity expansion.


Capacity leap: from "import dependence" to "global dominance"
In the past two decades, China's gas-phase white carbon black industry has undergone a transformation from a "technological gap" to "independent innovation". In 2002, the total domestic production was less than 1000 tons per year, and the self-sufficiency rate was less than 40%; By 2025, Yichang Huifu Silicon Materials Co., Ltd. will lead the world with a production capacity of 100000 tons per year. Its newly built 30000 tons per year production line will adopt "organic silicon monomer by-product recovery technology", reducing production costs by 25% and carbon emissions by 40% per ton. More noteworthy is that Shandong Dongyue Organic Silicon Materials Co., Ltd. has improved the recovery rate of chlorine and hydrogen chloride in exhaust gas to 99.5% through the patented technology of "gas-phase white carbon black production exhaust gas treatment device" (authorized announcement number CN202421423095.3), completely solving the environmental pollution problem of traditional processes.


Technological breakthrough: Breakthrough in the bottleneck of the high-end market
In the semiconductor field, Sai-800 fine particle white carbon black achieves a particle size uniformity of 99.5% through surface modification technology. As a photoresist thickener, it can increase the yield of 5-nanometer chip processes by 3 percentage points. Currently, it has entered the supply chain systems of Changjiang Storage and SMIC.
