The development of a technical route for the development and production of silicone release agents should focus on the following factors:

2 product molding process conditions: processing temperature, mold storage time, the direction of the product peeling from the mold (sliding on the working surface of the mold or peeling perpendicular to the working surface of the mold);

3 technical requirements of molded products: processing batch size, product size and workpiece precision requirements, surface subsequent bonding and coating requirements of processed products;

4 product processing mold conditions: mold material, shape and size, mold surface state, mold specific requirements for mold release agent;

5 mold release agent process performance and performance requirements: release agent removal and removal process restrictions, release agent working temperature and working life, processing products peeling force requirements.

According to the above technical conditions and process requirements, determine the dosage form, main component type and material structure of the silicone release agent, and synthesize the silicone base polymer of specific composition and structure according to the predetermined requirements of the release agent, and then refer to the specific Operating conditions select compatible functional additives to ensure that the main components are fully functional.

For the release agent which requires the release mold release force to be as small as possible, it is usually mixed with silicone oil with less boring degree, and if necessary, the solution of appropriate concentration is applied. The release agent is obviously used during the use of the release agent. Migration and exfoliation are easy, but such release agents have a short service life, and the release agent is applied once, and after repeated use for a limited number of times, repeated application is required, and the molded article loses its subsequent surface finish and hek junction performance.

For the molding process in which the molding temperature is high and the molded article does not allow migration and contamination of the release agent component, only the non-migratory type high temperature release agent can be used. The main component should be made of a special silicone resin, and the cured film layer of the silicone resin is also required to have no defects.

For larger hot press forming dies such as hot press vulcanization of rubber tires, silicone oil or silicone rubber water emulsion is usually used as a release agent. Because of the large heat capacity of the forming mold itself, the application of the aqueous dosage form release agent also dries the mold faster, and the application of the aqueous dosage form release agent also eliminates the risk of using a solvent type release agent to catch fire. For the molding of fine products such as multiple electronic components, a composite silicone oil-air aerosol type release agent is often used. High-grade fine products can be processed at a higher cost. For the forming of rough materials with strong impact on the mold during the processing, most of the silicone rubber mixed grease is used as the release agent.

The selection of the base material of the release agent also needs to consider the movement mode of the product peeling from the mold: the fine and fragile molded product is peeled off perpendicularly to the working surface of the mold, and a silicone rubber type release agent is preferably used.
