With the development of coal production, the discharge of coal gangue is increasing, which pollutes the environment. Therefore, it is of great significance to comprehensively use the tailings from the preparation of aluminum salts from coal gangue to produce white carbon black. The modification of the tailings, i.e. surface activation treatment, can make the tailings and other organic high polymers form organic complex, which can significantly improve the product performance. Using coal gangue to produce aluminum salt, white carbon black and other products is a way to comprehensively utilize coal gangue. Each product is independent and can be transformed into each other. It is more flexible and more suitable for market demand.
