Report summary
At the beginning of the report, Professor Huo introduced the advantages and applications of metal organic framework (MOFs). Then he talked about his recent work. First of all, a simple and general method of size selectivity in a series of NPs / porous nanocomposites can be obtained by using the influence of modifier molecules and pore sizes. Secondly, the modified catalyst has excellent size selective catalytic performance for selective hydrogenation of olefins. More importantly, this strategy can also be extended to layered pore structure (activated carbon) and irregular pore structure (titanium dioxide). ?
Personal profile
Huo Fengwei, a professor and doctoral supervisor of Nanjing University of technology, received his bachelor's degree and master's degree in Jilin University in 1999 and 2002 respectively, and his doctor's degree in Northwest University in 2009. From 2010 to 2014, he was an assistant professor of Nanyang University of technology in Singapore, and since 2014, he has been teaching in Nanjing University of technology. Mainly engaged in MOF composite materials, selective catalysis, energy storage, flexible electronic devices, nano printing and other research. Currently, he is deputy editor in chief of ACS Applied Materials & interfaces of American Chemical Society. ?
