The term "Silicon Valley" is not only a place name - specifically, the Santa Clara Valley in the United States, but also a pronoun - a pronoun of the world's high-tech industry concentration, a synonym with the most innovative spirit and technological products in the world.
The word "Silicon Valley" was first coined by don Hoefler, a journalist in the United States. Since 1971, he has published a series of articles in "weekly business". The title of each article has the word "Silicon Valley in the United States". The reason why there is a word "Silicon" in his name is that most of his enterprises research and produce silicon-based semiconductor chips, or engage in industrial activities related to them, and these enterprises are gathered in a "Valley" - the Santa Clara Valley located in the south of San Francisco Bay area, the metropolitan area of California. Today, it has become a world-famous high-tech industrial zone.
In the near future, Baoshan silicon based Industrial Park will first form an aggregation effect, which may become "Baoshan Silicon Valley". In this way, Baoshan will become an "important industrial town in western Yunnan", which is just around the corner.
In the process of implementing industrial agglomeration, Baoshan seizes the opportunity of hydropower silicon material processing integration strategy, gives full play to Baoshan's hydropower advantages, makes full use of Baoshan's rich silicon resources, focuses on "gathering thousands of enterprises and creating hundreds of billions of parks" in Baoshan industrial and Trade Park, and builds Baoshan industrial and Trade Park, known as "Baoshan Silicon Valley", into an important industrial town in western Yunnan.
1 million yuan for outstanding contributors
Recently, the municipal government issued 15 suggestions and measures to stabilize the economic development, Article 3 of which is "promoting enterprises to achieve production and efficiency", stipulating that 150000 yuan will be awarded to each new industrial enterprise that is put into operation and included in the scale above; 100000 yuan will be awarded to each enterprise that is transferred from the scale below to the scale above within the year; For the industrial and logistics enterprises with annual warehousing tax amount of 10 million yuan, 30 million yuan and 50 million yuan and tax increase of 10%, 150000 yuan, 300000 yuan and 500000 yuan will be awarded respectively. In addition, the implementation of "key hydropower silicon material integration project yield Award": in the first quarter of this year, the 11gw monocrystalline silicon project of Longling County reached its yield, and the relevant personnel of the investment enterprise who made outstanding contributions were awarded 1 million yuan.
Silicon is known as "industrial monosodium glutamate", "king of semiconductors" and "locomotive of photovoltaic industry". Industrial silicon, polycrystalline silicon, monocrystalline silicon, organosilicon, silicon carbide and other silicon products and downstream products are the important basis for the development of new energy, new materials, electronic information and other strategic emerging industries. In order to develop the new material industry, photovoltaic industry, optoelectronic industry and chemical industry, on December 1, 2017, the people's Government of Yunnan Province issued the implementation opinions on promoting the development of hydropower silicon material processing integration industry. According to the opinions, by 2020, the total industrial silicon capacity of the province will reach 1.3 million tons.
Baoshan is rich in silicon deposits, with estimated reserves of more than 100 million tons. At present, it has proved reserves of 40.776 million tons, and silicon ores are of good quality, with silicon dioxide content up to 98%; Baoshan is rich in hydropower resources, with technical development capacity of at least 8.2 million kilowatts, and installed capacity of 2.2 million kilowatts, which is the key area of the province's hydropower silicon material integration strategy. In 2016, our city introduced Xi'an Longji new energy Co., Ltd., registered and established Baoshan Longji silicon material Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Baoshan Longji), and participated in the implementation of the hydropower silicon material integration project in Baoshan. At the beginning of 2016, Baoshan Longji company started to build the first phase of 5GW / a single crystal silicon rod project, which was put into production on August 1, 2017; in March 2018, Baoshan Longji went to Malaysia for the second phase of 6Gw / a single crystal silicon rod project, which was put into production in October 2019. By March this year, 608 of the 704 single crystal furnaces in phase II had been put into operation.
In January and February 2020, the output value of 11gw single crystal silicon rod project of Longling "garden in the park" is 890 million yuan and the income is 780 million yuan; after the project is completed, the annual sales income is about 11.5 billion yuan, the tax revenue is 500 million yuan and 4000 jobs can be provided.
Two more 10GW single crystal silicon rod projects
The working conference held by the Municipal Bureau of industry and information technology in March this year revealed an important information: the city will arrange 31 GW of monocrystalline silicon rod projects in Baoshan industrial and Trade Park, including 11 GW of Longling "yuanzhongyuan", 10 GW of Tengchong "yuanzhongyuan" and 10 GW of Changning County "yuanzhongyuan".
According to the notice on February progress of key hydropower and silicon material integrated development projects issued by Baoshan hydropower and silicon material leading group office, as of February 29, the excavation earthwork of 890000 cubic meters and the rest 290000 cubic meters of 10GW single crystal silicon rod project of Tengchong "yuanzhongyuan" in phase III of Baoshan Longji has been completed; the earthwork backfilling of main power house area has been basically completed, and pile foundation is under construction; 4 staff dormitories and other supporting facilities have been built.
The notice also drew the "schedule and route map" of Tengchong 10GW single crystal silicon rod project: before June 30 this year, the lifting and capping of steel components in the main plant was completed; before July 31, the equipment was mobilized for installation; before October 31, the equipment commissioning was completed; before December 31, the equipment was installed and formally produced.
The progress requirements of Changning 10GW single crystal silicon rod project are: to complete the preparation of the project feasibility study report before March 31; to complete the project filing before June 30; to complete the environmental impact assessment report and land acquisition before September 30; to complete the construction design before October 31; to start the construction before November 30.
In addition to the above-mentioned 31gw single crystal silicon rod project, our city also focuses on introducing large enterprises with high scientific and technological content, good economic benefits and low resource consumption, combining mining and electricity, developing industrial silicon, polycrystalline silicon, single crystal silicon, organosilicon, silicon carbide and other silicon products and their downstream products, vigorously developing new energy and new material industries, and forming industrial clusters.
On March 19, Tongwei city signed an agreement with Tongwei Co., Ltd. through video link. The "Tongwei high purity crystalline silicon project" was launched in "yuanzhongyuan" of Changning. The first phase of the project has a design capacity of 40000 tons and a total investment of 4 billion yuan. It will be completed and put into operation before the end of November 2021.
In addition, the "Dongfang hope 10GW photovoltaic material whole industry chain" project, phase I 5GW project, is planned to start construction in Tengchong "yuanzhongyuan" before April 30 this year; the 30000 ton high-purity crystalline silicon production project of Korea OCI Co., Ltd. is planned to start construction in Tengchong "yuanzhongyuan" before the end of June, and put into production in 2022.
At that time, Baoshan will become the production base of high-purity crystalline silicon with the largest monomer production capacity and the highest technological content in the world.
Building "Baoshan Silicon Valley"
Monocrystalline silicon rod is a cylindrical product made of high-purity polycrystalline silicon in the monocrystalline furnace. After the monocrystalline silicon rod is cut into monocrystalline silicon, it is mainly used for solar photovoltaic power generation. "Annual output of 20GW of single crystal silicon rod" means: "if all the single crystal silicon rods produced each year are used as materials for photovoltaic power generation, the installed capacity can be 20GW." The total installed capacity of the Three Gorges hydropower station is 22.4gw. When all 31gw of single crystal silicon rods in Baoshan are put into production, the installed capacity of the solar chips used for processing will exceed one and a half of the Three Gorges Power Station - of course, the single crystal silicon rods are not only used for solar power generation. Polysilicon, monocrystalline silicon and other metal silicon are widely used as materials for making semiconductors. In addition, silicon metal can also form alloys with more than ten kinds of metals, such as aluminum and magnesium; compounds generated from high-purity crystalline silicon are widely used in aerospace, military industry, medical and other industries. According to statistical analysis, the silicon material industry based on silicon ore processing is a global sunrise industry and strategic industry. The rapid development of global semiconductor, photovoltaic and organosilicon branch industries drives the rapid growth of upstream silicon material demand. Therefore, we can say that Baoshan has won a big cake in this round of industrial development and distribution——
Relying on the resource advantages of silicon ore and clean hydropower, Baoshan's industrial silicon production capacity is mainly distributed in Longling County and Changning County. It supports the existing industrial silicon enterprises to transform and upgrade through integration, merger and other measures, expand and strengthen 2 to 3 industrial silicon enterprise groups with an annual production capacity of more than 100000 tons, and build an integrated industrial demonstration base of hydropower silicon material processing in Yunnan Province.
Therefore, the industrial planning of Baoshan industrial and Trade Park has been adjusted into one leading industry, namely silicon-based industry zone, two auxiliary industries, namely electronic information industry zone and light textile industry zone.
The total planning area of the silicon-based Industrial Park is about 9 square kilometers, which is divided into the core area and the chemical area. The core area is the "Park in the park" of Longling, Tengchong and Changning. The chemical area undertakes the silicon-based material chemical industry. The electronic information industry area is located in the "Park in the park" of Longyang and Shidian. The light textile industry area is located in the start-up area.
At present, all work is proceeding in an orderly manner.
