 (2) Difference in basic physical parameters: Precipitation white carbon black contains water of crystallization, so it is also called hydrated silica (SiO2·nH2O). Silica, the content is 87%~95%, the average particle size is 11~100nm, and the density is 1.93 ~2.05g/cm3, pH value 5.7~9.5. Fumed white carbon black is also known as anhydrous silica (SiO2), with a silica content of over 99.8%, average particle size 8~19nm, density 200g cm, pH 3.9 ~4.0. The reinforcing performance of silica mainly depends on the surface area (or particle size), structure and surface chemical properties. The surface area is measured by the BET method or the CTAB method, and the structure is measured by the DBP value or DOP value.
