(1) Difference in manufacturing method: The white carbon black produced by the gas phase method and the white carbon black produced by the precipitation method are essentially the same, and the chemical name is silica. However, the gas phase method uses silicon tetrachloride and air combustion to obtain silicon dioxide with a fineness of more than 1000 mesh. The precipitation method uses sodium silicate to add sulfuric acid or hydrochloric acid to precipitate the silicon dioxide. The fineness of conventional precipitated white carbon black is only 300~400 days.
