Silica can be used as a reinforcing agent for rubber, and its reinforcing performance is even better than that of pigmented carbon black after ultra-fine treatment. It is more suitable for making light-colored rubber.

Silica can also be used as a thickening agent and plays an important role in the blending of oils and lacquers. At the same time, it can also be used as a delustering agent for paints, a thixotropic agent for packaging materials for electronic components, a precipitating agent for phosphors during phosphor screen coating, a filler for color printing rubber sheets, and a mold release agent for casting.

After adding silica into the resin, it can improve the moisture-proof and insulating properties of the resin. Filling in plastic products can increase slip resistance and oil resistance. Filled with silicone resin, it can be made into plastic with resistance above 200℃.

Silica is used as a filler and paper surface ingredient in the paper industry. It is also used as a carrier or dispersant for insecticides and pesticides, anti-caking agents, as well as liquid adsorbents and lubricants.
