3. Extrusion

The shape of the product is relatively simple, mostly in the shape of a strip. Silicone tubes are widely used in medical and mechanical equipment fields, and can also be used as a buffer in packaging materials.

4. Calendering
Silicone rubber is kneaded and mixed with white carbon black, silicone oil, etc. to make a compounded rubber, and then the sheet is rolled out. The film made by calendering has obvious physical and mechanical properties in the longitudinal and lateral directions. This phenomenon is a calendering effect. The specific performance is that the longitudinal tensile strength of the film is greater than the horizontal direction, the transverse elongation of the film is greater than the longitudinal direction, and the longitudinal shrinkage of the film is greater than the transverse direction. The calendering effect is the result of the orientation of the macromolecules and needle-like and sheet-like compound in the calendering direction during the calendering process. The size of the calendering effect is related to the composition of the rubber compound, calendering temperature, speed, speed ratio, etc. It is mainly used for larger products such as silica gel sheets and silica gel plates.
