Why does the sealant crack after curing?

Hits: 310 img

After the real rubber strip is cured, there are very few intermediate cracks. Because there are too few cases, it is not very clear about some objective conditions, so it is impossible to accurately determine the cause. Cracking here mainly refers to the phenomenon of degumming on the substrate side caused by poor adhesion to the substrate, also called cracking.

There are several reasons for this reason (except for inferior glue):

First, the compatibility is not done or no compatibility test is done, that is, the incompatibility between the glue and the substrate causes cracking.

Second, it is the reason for the existence of the construction, the surface of the substrate is not cleaned or improperly applied, such as construction before the solvent is dry, or it is too long and contaminated after cleaning.

Most of the cracks after sealant curing are caused by improper construction.
