Uses of precipitating silica
① Rubber reinforcing white carbon black is mainly used as a reinforcing agent in the rubber field, and its amount accounts for 70% of the total. Reinforcement performance is second only to carbon black, even after ultra-fine and proper surface treatment, it is even better than carbon black, especially when manufacturing white, colored and light-colored rubber products.
 
② Matting effect The refractive index of silica black is 1.45 ～ 1.50. When the paint film containing silica black matting agent is incident, the diffused reflection occurs when the incident light reaches the uneven paint film surface, forming a low gloss matte and matte appearance.

③ White carbon black with large specific surface area and strong adsorption capacity is one of the main types of friction agents for toothpaste. Because its refractive index is very close to other ingredients of toothpaste, it is suitable for the ingredients of transparent toothpaste.

④ Paper sizing and strengthening effect When white carbon black is used in paper, it can increase the whiteness and opacity of the paper, improve printability, oil resistance, abrasion resistance and gloss. Adding 1 to 2% of white carbon to newsprint can reduce the weight of the paper by 10%, increase the strength, and prevent ink from penetrating.
