In this collaboration, Hankook Tire and Solvay will work together to develop recycled silica from various raw materials,v aiming to reduce environmental impact and enhance the environmental performance of tire products. Bonhee Ku, President and Chief Technology Officer of Hankook Tire, stated that this collaboration marks an important step forward in sustainable tire production. As a global expert in silica, Solvay will also carry out large-scale recycling renovations of all its factories to support the production of recycled silica.
