Use and performance of silica
The use of silica is very versatile and different products have different uses. It is used as a good reinforcing agent for synthetic rubber. Its reinforcing performance is second only to carbon black. Even if it is ultra-fine and proper surface treatment, it is even better than carbon black.
The addition of silica to the resin improves the moisture resistance and insulation properties of the resin. Filled in plastic products, it can increase the slip resistance and oil resistance. Filled in silicone resin, it can be made into plastics with resistance above 200 °C.
