The best selection of silica dispersion method and dispersion equipment depends on the consistency of the system. Sometimes we suggest that some liquid or some formula materials should be used to disperse all the fumed silica, and then the remaining liquid and other formula materials should be used to adjust the content of fumed silica to reach the formula demand share. In principle, fumed silica of white carbon black is added as the fundamental particle size decreases. However, with the addition of particle fineness, higher shear force is required to achieve its thickening effect.


The effect of fumed silica depends on the strength of dispersion to a large extent, and at least a high-speed dispersion machine needs to be selected for dispersion.
