In order to improve everyone's scientific research level, strengthen cross communication between different disciplines, and provide a platform for the majority of graduate students to show themselves, our university will hold the 22nd postgraduate science and technology forum from April 26 to June 18.

Sub forum of science and Technology Forum of safety College

Time:
It is initially set from June 1 to June 10, 2020. (location to be determined)

Activity form:
(1) At the preliminary review stage, teachers of relevant disciplines are invited to set up a review group to conduct blind review of the manuscripts that have passed the review, and determine the manuscripts to enter the sub forum defense according to the results of the preliminary review; the author of the sub forum defense makes PPT for display, and accepts on-site questions from the judges and teachers.
(2) The assessment content mainly includes five aspects: paper quality, language expression, question answering, speech time and PPT production. The first, second and third prizes and the best prize of each sub forum are selected according to the personal total score.

Award settings:
The sub forum will set up first, second and third prizes and winning prizes, and issue certificates of honor and bonuses, including:
First prize: 5% of the defense works;
Second prize: 10% of the defense works;
Third prize: 15% of the defense works;
Winning prize: 20% of the respondent's works;
(yes, as long as you participate, you have a half chance to win the prize!)
At the same time, the winners of this science and Technology Forum will be given priority in the evaluation of "National Scholarship", "Zhongsheng scholarship", "Shijun scholarship", "school scholarship" and other scholarships under the same conditions; the winners can also be recommended to participate in the evaluation of "outstanding graduate cadres", "three good graduate students" and other awards; their outstanding works can be recommended to the Journal of Nanjing University of Technology publish.
Note: the prize money of science and technology forum series activities will be distributed uniformly after the closing of the forum, among which the winner of the finals will be awarded according to the highest prize won, without repeated accumulation.

Submission method:
(1) Please send the manuscript to the e-mail of Nanjing University of Technology Forum. Science and Engineering Group: njtech202001@163.com
(2) Please send the manuscript as an attachment and set the title of the word document as: college + name + contact information + thesis title + (education background). For example: School of Safety + an Xiaowei + 19820200520 + Application Research of a new flame retardant material (Master's degree).
Notes for submission:
(1) The contributor must be the first author of the paper (or the first work of the tutor and the second work of the contributor), and the title should be self prepared;
(2) There is no limit to the number of contributions, and finally the papers with the highest score in the preliminary examination will enter the sub forum for defense; published and unpublished papers can be submitted, and the contributions of the science and Technology Forum will not affect the contributions of graduate students in the off campus journals;
(3) The contributions shall be standard academic papers, both in Chinese and English. The format of Chinese papers shall conform to the relevant specifications of the Journal of Nanjing University of technology. The content shall include the title, abstract, key words, text and references. For the specific format, please refer to the format of papers (Annex I) and the template of papers (Annex II). The format of English papers shall conform to the phase of English papers in science of China Please refer to the format of English papers (Annex 3) for the specific format. Published SCI papers can be submitted after deleting the author information in the original format;
(4) This submission is limited to electronic version of word document. The format is required to be *. Doc. PDF and docx are not allowed. If the format is inconsistent, the submission will be rejected;
(5) The contributors shall abide by the academic ethics, and shall not commit any academic misconduct such as plagiarism. All contributions will be reviewed in a unified way. Articles with a review rate higher than 30% will lose the qualification to participate in the evaluation of science and Technology Forum;
(6) Information irrelevant to the paper itself shall not appear in the text, and the author's relevant information is only allowed to appear in the title of the word document;
(7) After the email is sent, please reply after receiving the email to confirm the successful delivery;
(8) Postgraduates who have obtained the 2019 Jiangsu Postgraduates' training and innovation project must submit the interim results or closing book to the review of this science and Technology Forum, otherwise, the project will not be closed.
Science and Technology Forum finals

Conditions for Election:
According to the awards of the sub forums, the first person selected by each sub forum shall fill in the application form for the final of science and technology forum to participate in the finals. If the contestants abstain, they shall be postponed according to the total scores.

Final form:
The University invited experts and scholars to form a review committee to set up a special field for on-site defense and review of the shortlisted candidates for doctoral and master's degree, and selected the first, second and third prizes of the arts group and the science and engineering group of "the 22nd graduate science and Technology Forum finals of Nanjing University of technology".

Award settings of the finals:
First, second and third prizes will be set up in the finals of science and Technology Forum, and certificates of honor and prizes will be awarded, among which:
First prize: 20% of the selected works;
Second prize: 30% of the selected works;
Third prize: 50% of the selected works.
