Introduction to the school of safety
The school of safety has two undergraduate majors of safety engineering and fire protection engineering, and has two first-class disciplines of "mining engineering" and "safety science and Engineering" postdoctoral research flow stations; "safety science and Engineering" first-class disciplines of doctoral degree granting points, "mining engineering" first-class disciplines of master's degree granting points, "safety engineering" and "mining engineering" two engineering master's fields. In the fourth round of national discipline evaluation of the academic degree and graduate education development center of the Ministry of education, safety science and engineering obtained B + level, ranking sixth in the country; at the end of last year, safety engineering was selected as the national first-class undergraduate major of the Ministry of education! In addition, the school of safety also has excellent scientific research strength. In recent years, it has undertaken more than 60 national and provincial scientific research projects, including the preliminary research project of 973 Plan, 863 plan, national key R & D plan, key projects of National Natural Science Foundation, etc., with an average annual scientific research fund of more than 20 million yuan. He has published more than 150 SCI papers, 8 academic monographs, more than 60 national authorized patents, 1 second prize of national science and technology progress award, 10 science and technology achievements awards at or above the provincial level, and 8 provincial teaching achievements awards.

The school of safety has 239 graduates of 2019.
Among them, there are 186 undergraduates, 50 masters and 3 doctors.
The 2019 graduates come from 28 provincial administrative regions.
Jiangsu Province is the main source of students.
Graduates from outside Jiangsu Province mainly come from Henan, Anhui, Guangxi, Zhejiang and other provinces.

Wang Guan, a 2019 undergraduate, is a member of the Communist Party of China. After graduation, he worked in Nanjing Zhengda Tianqing Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and served as the class monitor during the school period. He has been awarded the honorary titles of "three good students", "excellent student cadres" and "excellent assistant counselors" of Nanjing University of technology.
Zhu Yuanshu, a graduate of 2019, is a member of the Communist Party of China. After graduation, she worked in the Organization Department of Taizhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China. Full participation in employment
