Reporter: Fan Yichun, female, the 16th batch of students from Shanxi development and Reform Commission to Germany. Graduated from Nanjing University of technology in June 2010, majoring in biochemistry, entered the energy power plant of Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. in July of the same year, master's degree, water treatment engineer, mainly responsible for the optimization of sewage and wastewater treatment system, cost reduction and efficiency improvement, and research direction of environmental treatment technology.
1、 Shanxi Province is located in the east of the Yellow River and the west of Taihang Mountain. It is a province with extremely poor water resources. With the rapid development of social economy and the continuous improvement of people's living standards, a large number of industrial wastewater and domestic sewage are produced, which further aggravates the shortage of water resources. The problem of water resources and water environment has become an important factor restricting the sustainable development of Shanxi economy. As a large metallurgical enterprise in Shanxi Province, TISCO will adjust its industrial structure, improve its energy efficiency and reduce its energy consumption. Over the years, TISCO has accelerated the construction of the industrial chain of comprehensive utilization of water resources. On the one hand, it uses the wastewater treatment technology to recycle all the industrial wastewater, on the other hand, it recycles the domestic sewage (about 50000 tons per day) of Beisha River and Beijian River residents in Jiancaoping area, which has made outstanding contributions to the construction of Meili Taiyuan. With the continuous upgrading of enterprises and the increase of industrial wastewater, it is required to improve the treatment efficiency of wastewater, reduce the treatment energy consumption and optimize the water treatment process. 2、 German study 1. I met Germany for the first time. After 8 months of German study in China, I embarked on a flight to Germany. After 10 hours of flight, the plane landed in Dusseldorf. Then we took the bus to Noyce, where we had a half month's intensive training, including the notes of German life, learning the differences between Chinese and Western cultures and thinking.

2. From June to September 2020, the 16th batch of our students will study German in three cities. I studied Telc's "Deutsch f ü R Beruf B1-B2" at KS + + language school in Essen. This is a textbook focusing on workplace German, which covers the production of personal resume, introduction of common departments of the company, writing of common workplace email, and some workplace precautions. Our teacher is an Iranian professor who has lived in Germany for more than 30 years. The biggest difference from the domestic language learning is that the professor requires us to take more notes. "Schreiben, Schreiben, Schreiben" is the motto of the teacher. In China, when we study German, it is often "sprechen, sprechen, sprechen". Later, we understood the differences between the two kinds of teaching. We studied German at zero foundation in China. The cultivation of language sense is very important. Speaking more, listening more and shaping the German environment. After coming to Germany, we are already in the German environment, so we need to write more words. It is very important to increase the number of words and improve the accuracy of words. After three months of German study, we all passed the exam.

3. Perception of German life and culture 3.1 environmental climate Germany has a high greening rate of vegetation, whether in the middle of the street or the suburbs, there are large areas of green plants, many parks are close to the original ecology, the trees are vertical, and hare and squirrel are often seen. Most of the regions in Germany belong to the transitional climate between the temperate marine climate and the continental climate of Eastern Europe. The temperature is not too cold in winter, mostly above zero, and not too hot in summer. Except for the occasional short-term heat wave, the temperature is generally not more than 32 degrees. The temperature decreases from west to East and from north to south. The rainfall is distributed throughout the year, and it is rainy all the year round. And the weather changes fast, often can see the clouds running, sunny and rainy. Most of the rain is small and continuous. Local people don't like umbrella, like rainproof clothes and backpacks. Rainproof assault suit is very suitable for German weather. Almost everyone here has one suit. 3.2 recycling economy: from the first day of garbage classification in Germany, we can often see garbage cans of various colors, paper-based garbage with blue logo, such as books, newspapers, etc.; bioorganic garbage with brown logo, such as vegetables, fruits, tea, coffee, etc.; packaging boxes with yellow logo, such as milk packaging boxes, yoghurt packaging boxes, etc.; other garbage with black logo 。 There is no one to supervise the garbage can, but people are very conscious to throw the garbage into the proper garbage can.

The most common supermarkets in Germany, such as penny, lidl and rewe, have empty bottle recycling machines at the entrance. Many drinks sold in supermarkets will be charged according to certain standards at the time of check-out. When people put the bottles back into the empty bottle recycling machine after drinking, they will get corresponding cash vouchers. Through this measure, most people will consciously store all kinds of bottles, which increases the meaning of environmental protection of the whole people and strengthens environmental protection actions. 3.3 transportation in Germany our region is North Wales. The transportation network here is very developed, and you can almost reach any place you want to go. The most common types of trains are as follows: re, the inter city express, usually stops at the main station of each city; S-Bahn, the inter city train, connects the adjacent cities, generally runs on the ground, with many stops, just like the slow train we commonly call; U-Bahn, commonly known as the subway, generally runs underground in the city, sometimes also on the ground; bus. Almost all sites have self-service ticket machines, but also online tickets. All the railway trains enter the station without checking tickets, and get on the train directly, instead of random ticket inspectors. The scale of ticket checking is also slightly different. When purchasing a youngticketplus ticket, you need to carry a certificate with you in theory. Sometimes you can take photos of the certificate and keep it on your mobile phone, and sometimes you have to show the original certificate. The safest way is to carry the original passport with you. There are many kinds of tickets here, such as city day ticket, city month ticket, state day ticket, state month ticket, adult ticket, children ticket, student ticket, weekend ticket, individual ticket, five person group ticket, double ticket, four time ticket, etc. When you are not sure what kind of tickets to buy, you'd better go to the consulting office of the main fire. Each platform has an electronic train number display or timetable, most of which are on time, but I have also encountered many times when the train is late and leaves the platform in advance. It is very important for German drivers to observe the traffic rules here when they are crossing the intersection and see that the green light tends to speed up. 3.4 Germany's fitness and entertainment Germany roadside has a special regional bicycle lane, cycling is an important part of fitness and entertainment in Germany at this stage. There are many kinds of bicycles, including those with pure manpower and power, which are even more expensive than some cars. The bicycle can be placed on the back or the roof of the car, which is convenient for driving in the suburbs. There are also various clubs in Germany, such as sailing club, fitness club, table tennis club, water polo club, ice hockey club, etc. on weekends or sunny days, you can often see the club organizing activities in the street or by the lake.
Club activities
3.5 serious and planned work in Germany, almost everyone has a terminkalender (schedule), party, visit, meeting, discussion, etc. all need to make an appointment in advance. People will open their terminkalender and look at the schedule. Sometimes a simple conversation may be scheduled a week later, and a regular visit may be scheduled a few months later. Sometimes I feel that this is a reflection of some degree of attention, sometimes I feel that it is inefficient. To see a doctor in Germany, you usually need to make an appointment in advance. The front desk nurse will simply ask about the patient's condition and make arrangements according to whether it is urgent or not. If the attending doctor is on holiday and not in an emergency, the nurse may be arranged after one month and recorded in detail in the schedule. If it is an emergency, there is often a replacement doctor in the outpatient department. The nurse will ask for your advice and arrange another doctor for consultation. Construction of projects in Germany is also slow, with a section of road likely to be built for several years. A local colleague told me that they have to do rigorous analysis, detailed design and long-term consideration for every project they carry out, so houses, roads, tracks and so on more than 100 years ago can often be seen here. 3.6 the mailbox in Germany has a mailbox at home, even for short-term tenants. The popularity of mailbox is like our mobile phone. The mailbox plays a very important role here. Go to the bank to apply for the bank card. The bank will mail the card to the personal mailbox after checking the information. One week after receiving the card, the password letter will be mailed to the personal mailbox. There is no need for immediate payment in the clinic. The bill will be mailed to the personal mailbox later. Mailbox is a contact tool between individuals and various institutions of society. It can also indirectly understand German system and culture. Friends who come to Germany to study must not belittle the importance of mailbox. 4. At the end of September 2019, I participated in the public open day of lanuv (Landesamt f ü r nature, Umwelt und verbraucherschutz). The new lanuv in North Wales is set up in Duisburg, and will be completed in 2019 with an investment of about 66 million euros, covering a total area of 10000 square meters. Lanuv has a total of five floors, which is equipped with environmental protection publicity video room, detergent chemical room, biological laboratory, chemical laboratory, water quality data network room, liquid chromatography (HPLC), gas chromatography (GC) and other high-precision instrument rooms. Lanuv also has some outdoor environmental protection vehicles, such as environmental protection bus activity classroom, water measurement mobile car, radioactive material detection mobile car, etc. On the day of the opening day, information lectures were also held, such as waste classification and recycling, municipal sewage treatment plant operation, groundwater model, water sampling and analysis. Many children are brought here by their parents to visit and study and participate in simple biochemical experiments. Through the visit, the public fully understood the significance of environmental protection and the environmental control measures of the authorities, which greatly improved the awareness of environmental protection.

In September 2019, the winter semester of Duisburg Essen University began, and I took two courses of wastewater treatment technology and membrane technology to attend. Professor panglish and Professor hobby are responsible for the course of wastewater treatment technology, covering the brief history of water treatment development in Europe, water balance analysis, water quality analysis, water environment laws and regulations, mechanical law, physical and chemical law, biochemical law, etc. The membrane technology is in the charge of Professor Ulbricht, covering the materials, production, use and design of commonly used membranes. As I was going to hexster for internship in November, I couldn't continue to come to the school to listen to lessons, and the teacher's courseware was updated with the class hours, so I asked my classmates to send the courseware to me continuously, so that I could continue to complete the course during the internship interval.

In October 2019, I attended two training courses at the utility and waste management training center (bew) in Essen. One is "treatment and discharge of commercial and industrial wastewater". The course content includes environmental protection laws and regulations, water resource protection, research on wastewater treatment technology and process engineering, wastewater treatment of various enterprises, management and control of wastewater enterprises, labor protection, etc. The other is the detection of microorganisms in wastewater, mainly introduces the morphology and measurement of common microbial communities in wastewater
