On April 7, Rui Hongyan, Secretary of the Party committee of Nanjing University of technology, and a delegation led by President Qiao Xu visited Chuzhou, accompanied by Jin Li, member of the Standing Committee and executive vice mayor of the municipal Party committee, Yao Zhijiang, deputy secretary of the Nanqiao District Committee and head of the district, and Shao Changling, deputy head of the district.
The delegation visited Chuzhou science and Education City R & D zone and huizhiwan science and Technology Innovation Zone of Nanjing University of technology on the spot to learn more about the progress of the project and the role of the project in promoting the economic and cultural development of the surrounding areas after its completion and operation.
After the visit, leaders of the city Zhang Xiang'an and Xu Jiwei met with the delegation of Nantong University. Zhang Xiangan and Xu Jiwei welcomed Rui Hongyan and Qiao Xu to visit Chuzhou. He said that deepening and expanding cooperation with Nanjing University of technology is an important measure to implement the national plan for the regional integration development of the Yangtze River Delta, and is a major event in the construction of Chuzhou higher education, science and technology innovation city. The main leaders of the University led a team to visit Chuzhou, which means that the cooperation between Chuzhou and Nanjing University of technology has entered a critical moment. Nantong University is one of the earliest planning and promotion plates of the science and technology innovation city of higher education, which has laid a good foundation for the early construction of the park. It is with the help of Nantong University that the park has attracted several other universities in Nanjing to settle in, realizing the great development of the higher education plate. It is hoped that both sides seize the opportunity, take the construction of College Students' training base as the top priority, actively explore the "1 + n" mode, let more high-level talent teams and college students settle in Higher Education Science and technology innovation city to carry out practical training, and promote more production, learning and research cooperation results to take root in Chuzhou as soon as possible.
