On March 24, Chengdu cecep pilot Technology Co., Ltd. announced that in 2020, the company will implement the installation and commissioning of special spherical silicon micro powder burner and the finalization test of pelletizing process, and plan to complete the verification and acceptance of the process before mass production in the first half of 2020, forming a small batch production and marketing.
It is understood that the R & D project of molten spherical silica powder is committed to realizing the scale and localization of spherical silica powder and its process equipment, and solving the situation that spherical silica powder in China is manufactured by people.
The main processes are:
The angular ultra-pure silicon powder (R600, r610) provided by upstream customers is crushed to the proper particle size by the air flow grinder, and then it is melted and quickly cooled and spheroidized by the flame melting method;
The problem of agglomeration and spheroidization of ultrafine powder can be solved by controlling the temperature distribution of high temperature heating field;
Through precise particle size control technology, spherical silica powders with different particle sizes were prepared in batches;
The surface modified spherical silicon powder suitable for different packaging requirements was prepared by surface treatment technology;
Through this project, a set of spherical silicon powder engineering equipment and key parts are developed and applied.
The project progress is as follows:
R & D started in May 2015;
In 2017, technical demonstration, material property analysis, dispersion test, melt flame field temperature control technology, burner transformation and optimization have been completed, and laboratory products have been formed;
In 2018, new industrial equipment will be trial manufactured in small batch;
Since April 2019, small samples have been sent to customers for index analysis, and product optimization test analysis and improvement have been carried out for many times according to customer feedback.
In 2020, the installation and commissioning of the special burner and the finalization test of the pelletizing process will be carried out. It is planned to complete the verification and acceptance of the pre mass production process in the first half of 2020, forming a small batch production and marketing.
Spherical silicon powder is mainly used in the field of large-scale integrated circuit packaging, but the technology of spherical silicon powder and key devices are blocked in foreign countries, and the core parts of process equipment are closed management. Therefore, the high-end spherical silica powder in China is mainly imported. How to prepare high-purity and ultra-fine spherical silica powder has become a hot research topic in China.
